Pioneer Challenge is KHS PPO's ONLY schoolwide fundraiser!

The money from Pioneer Challenge funds school-wide initiatives for students, staff & families.

Students:

  • KHS’s signature blowout After Grad Parties for all seniors
  • Freshman Day t-shirts & snacks for student mentor
  • New Student Social
  • Spirit week decorations & snacks for all grades
  • Activities Fair (club signups event) for all students
  • Receptions for award ceremonies & scholarships
  • Dances & social events
  • Post-ACT lunch for all juniors
  • Laptop insurance & meal support for needy students
  • Pioneer Pride School Store to provide spiritwear & supplies for students & families

Staf and Schoolf:

  • Regularly-scheduled appreciation meals & events
  • Teacher grants for specific needs
  • Annual school gift ($10K to principal’s choice)--recent gifts include library furniture, kiln, microscopes
  • Campus beautification

Families:T

  • New Parent Welcome Night
  • Fall Parent Info Night
  • Introducing KHS Night
  • Grade Level parent meetings with principals (Sept & Jan)
  • Grade level social events
  • Unified Night Lights sponsorship
  • Support KSD NOW & KHS Cares for needy families
