Remote Support Guide

In order for a tech specialist to remotely view and take control of your laptop, you will need to follow the guide below.

 

1.) Open Finder by moving your cursor to the dock and clicking the icon

2.) Go to the applications folder and search for the application named "Splashtop SOS", then open.

(Click the items surrounded in green to help you find the application)

3.) You'll bring up the below window, click the yellow button.

4.) A new window should open, click "Allow" on each item that requires it

5.) When you click "Allow" a new window will open with checkboxes. Put a check next to anything that has "KSD Remote Support" or "Splashtop" in its title like in the image below.

6.) Click "Later" if the below window pops up.

7.) If you've done everything above, then you should have a window pop up that looks like the below image. Give the tech specialist the number that shows up(it will be where the green is in this image)
